The Company Safety Manager has day to day responsibility for Health and Safety and reports direct to the Managing Director who has overall responsibility. All company employees have completed the required training and are holders of the nationally recognised Contractors Safety Passport. |
| Documented safety plans and systems are prepared by the company and where appropriate these are audited by external consultants. |
| Health and Safety training of operatives is an ongoing process and all employees are issued with Safety Handbooks and attend regular meetings to reinforce safety aspects of our works. |
| Suppliers and subcontractors are expected to maintain similar standards and this is assessed prior to the placement of orders through an analysis of Quality and Safety plans. |
| Meldan Fabrications have an excellent safety record that is supported by a comprehensive accident, injury and dangerous occurrence investigation procedure, the findings of which are reported to senior management, and procedures are actioned or modified accordingly. |
